There are recipes that despite their simplicity are extraordinarily tasty.
Today we share our “secret” recipe for making robiols.
Rubiol is a typical Majorcan pasta consisting of a piece of fine flour pasta, kneaded with oil, butter and egg, folded in a semicircular shape and with a sweet filling… We recommend our local jams.
The recipe that we highlight is very elementary, very simple. Here it goes:
Ingredients:
- 300 grams of powdered sugar
- 300 gr butter
- 1 small cup of oil
- 1 small cup of water
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 kg of loose flour
Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead until smooth. Take portions of dough and roll them out. Place in the center of each one a tablespoon of the chosen filling (Agromart jams!). Fold and cut with the rubiol molds. And now, we heat the oven. To keep the rubiols sealed and not open during cooking, it is best to lightly press the edges with your fingers or a fork. Bake in the oven at 155°C during 25 minutes, let cool and sprinkle with sugar.
Enjoy robiols!
